About The Cavalier Hotel

Located on Ocean Drive in the heart of South Beach, the newly renovated Cavalier Hotel is one of the most unique hotels on the strip. This unique art deco creation has maintained its original integrity and appeal over the years and through renovations making it a destination hot spot for locals and visitors alike.

Running an establishment on a hot property such as the Cavalier location on South Beach requires an incredibly strong stable infrastructure technologically.

The Problem

While their style may say “Golden Era”, their technology is state of the art.

The Cavalier Hotel sets the bar high for the overall customer experience. Part of that is able to happen thanks to their in-house computer network which was established by InMotion PC.

 

The Solution

Working with the owners of The Cavalier Hotel we started from the ground up mapping out exactly what it was they would need to maintain and support their specific business. Recognizing the needs of their clients, it was vital to the Cavalier Hotel that guest satisfaction with WIFI connectivity be a priority and that a solid dependable IT infrastructure be implemented to ensure 100% uptime. Additionally, a new VoIP telephone system was installed, replacing the old aging and out dated system.

CAT6 cabling of all hotel rooms for high-speed internet access with VoIP telephone handsets with state-of-the-art hospitality features. Strategic IT planning with hotel management to ensure a reliable IT infrastructure.

 

The Impact 

No two companies are alike, not even two hotels. From bookkeeping & accounting to front desk check in’s, booking reservations, housekeeping, maintenance, on property restaurant and bar management, even client records. Their in-house network was created and tailored specifically to run the software they needed efficiently while putting strategies in place for consistent guest and staff wireless connectivity and all day every day IT support for the hotel’s technology systems.

In the hotel business, there is no “off time” – They run around the clock and must have full internet and computer functionality at all times in order for things to flow smoothly on a daily basis. InMotion PC will be monitoring their systems and are on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week allowing The Cavalier Hotel owners, management and staff the peace of mind they need to focus on their own jobs and their clients leaving the technical end of the operations to us.
